The temples have a soft tip that does not dig in behind the ear. I wore them under a beanie in January and it was fine.

Alright for the price. They keep out dust and flying bits, no problem. What annoyed me was that the cleaning cloth supplied left lint on the lenses, and the anti scratch coating seems to wear at the edges after a few weeks. I use my own cloth now.
