Twelve months in as a mechanic and the trousers have been abused. Brake fluid, grease, kneeling on concrete. There is a slight fade at the knees but the fabric has not worn through and the seams are intact.

Rain trousers fit fine, but the ankle zips are stiff and one jammed after a couple of weeks of mud. The material itself is holding up, so I'm keeping them with care.

The coverall zip is a proper heavy one and has held. Sleeves gather at the wrist which is neat. The neck feels a little tight when zipped all the way, but I never do that. Their answer to my question on flame resistant clothing was direct, specific, and free of sales talk.

Ordered large, arrived a touch short in the body, so it rides up when I bend for bricks. Fabric quality feels alright and colour hasn't faded, but I wish I'd gone for the tall version. Boots arrived on schedule, but one lace was missing. The ClearEdge team posted a spare pair that same week.

One of the disposable coveralls tore at the seam under the arm when I reached up to paint a ceiling. Others in the pack were fine, so perhaps I got a bad one. Go a size up for reaching work.
