Two-tone hi-vis trousers from Mascot's Safe Supreme range with fluorescent reflective bands and height-adjustable Cordura knee pad pockets. Dirt-repellent finish, several front, rear and thigh pockets and a 3 cm hem extension option. Certified for use with Mascot SHORT or LONG knee pads.

After a month, the shirts are as bright as day one and they do not go shiny at the elbows. Very good for regular washing. Given the number of items, packing was remarkably tidy and quick to unpack.

It does the job, but the smell when new was strong and took three washes to shift. Fit and warmth are good. I would advise washing before the first shift.

Trousers are warm and hardwearing. The waist runs a little large so I use the adjuster tabs. Kneepad pockets are good, though the pads themselves have to be bought separately. Their email updates are concise and useful, without a lot of noise.

Vest is a good colour but thinner than I imagined. I would not use it on a cold morning without a warm layer beneath. Fits true and the tape is bright.

Waist tapering is not good for my shape and the vest gapes at the front. The colour and tape are fine. I would suggest checking the measurements carefully before ordering.

Practical jacket with a place for everything. The radio holder on the chest is well positioned. I would have liked a slightly longer back for bending jobs.

Sturdy trousers with a sensible fit. The belt loops are on the small side for my work belt, though I managed to thread it through. Knee pockets work with standard pads.
