It's balanced well on my head. The ratchet clicks are a little loud but very secure, and the pivot has good friction that keeps the visor where I set it.

After a near miss at work I insisted the crew use full face cover for chainsaw and brushcutter jobs. We have eight of these now. The heavier mesh at the top stops branches, the chin drop is sizeable, and I can hose them down at the end of the day. Not one has cracked after four months.
