Description
The Jack MS-100A is a computerized, direct-drive template sewing machine with a very large 1400 x 935 mm sewing field. It is used to stitch big panels, reflective trim placements and multi-layer protective garment parts in a single programmed cycle. Templates are recognised via RFID tags and patterns are edited on the touch screen. An intermediate presser foot system handles light to heavy materials with DPX5 or DPX17 needle systems.

Works as described but the noise from the vacuum pump is louder than the data sheet suggested. We built a small enclosure around it. Cutting and seam quality otherwise have been good.

We cut about 400 jackets a day on this table and it keeps its pace without drifting. Cutting accuracy on the reflective banded fabric is far better than our old manual process. Our old process needed two people just to keep the cutters fed, and now one operator handles loading and unloading while the other prepares markers. Reflective banding still needs a fresh blade regularly, but the schedule is predictable and easy to plan around.
