Description
The Autoburst M229 is a hydraulic bursting strength apparatus for heavy-duty technical textiles, coated fabrics and protective materials. Its hydraulic system delivers up to 6000 kPa and measures distension up to 70 mm. Automatic flow control makes the specimen burst inside the time window set by the chosen standard, and automatic diaphragm correction gives the true burst pressure. Five interchangeable bell sizes, an integrated safety shield and a colour touch screen complete the design.
Technical data
- Maximum Pressure: 6000 kPa (871 psi)

Very pleased. Tests run fast, results are easy to export, and the machine needs only a wipe down. Recommended for smaller labs.

Support has been quick and useful. When our readings drifted slightly after a move to a new lab bench, they suggested checking the levelling of the frame, and that was the problem. Fixed in minutes.
Anke B. –
Runs consistently, session after session. Our results barely move between repeats. We use it for cut and tear samples and have been happy with it.

Test results are consistent and reports look professional. Customers have commented on how clear the report is.

Straightforward, accurate and easy to keep clean. We wipe it down after each session and nothing else so far.

Small factory owner. I needed in house testing to reduce the time spent sending samples to an external lab, and this tensile tester paid off quickly. My quality technician runs tests on every incoming batch, and support answered my beginner questions patiently, sometimes with short video replies. Since installation about a year ago we have saved a good amount on external testing fees, and I can retest a disputed batch the same day.
