Description
The EC250SXIII is an all-electric injection moulding machine with 250 US tons (230 metric tons) of clamping force, suited to helmet shells, visors and face shield parts that need precise, repeatable shots. Servo-driven toggle clamp and injection units give clean, grease-free operation and low energy use. It offers screw diameters from 36-55 mm and the Injectvisor V70 controller with Euromap 63/77 communication and on-screen setup help. Mould space and shot capacity cover mid-size protective equipment components.

Cycle time on a standard industrial helmet shell is around forty seconds, and it barely moves from shot to shot. That predictability makes our planning easy.

Clamp tonnage was well chosen for our large safety helmets with ventilation ribs. There is no flash, and pressure holds throughout the hold time.

Cooling channel flow can be balanced across zones, which improved warpage on our thin visor frames. We had that issue for years before.

Training material from ClearEdge included short videos and printed checklists, which our night shift used when the trainer had left. Clear feedback on the screen when the mould is not fully closed, and a helpful graph of injection pressure. My operators learned to spot trends before defects appeared.

Reliable and precise. In fourteen months of use, our only stop beyond routine service was a proximity switch that cost a few euros.

Shot after shot, shell weight stays steady, and we can hold a narrow window on the scale during quality checks. That reduces arguments with customers over tolerances. A follow up call from ClearEdge a few weeks after delivery asked how the machine was running, and they noted our small suggestions.
