Description
The Speedway SW 800-8045XH-AB is an extra-heavy CNC template sewing machine with an 800 x 450 mm programmable working area and an integrated automatic bobbin changer. It stitches thick, multi-layer materials such as harness webbing, padded protective panels and heavy workwear parts at up to 3,000 stitches per minute. A dual stepping-motor belt drive gives smooth XY motion. It ships complete with table, stand, servo motor and pattern conversion software.

Our garments have reflective strips crossing several panels, and matching them at the seam used to be a headache. With the marker software we align the strips digitally and the panels meet correctly nearly every time. That was only possible because the supplier let us send fabric samples before the order, and they cut a test batch for us in their trial room. It gave our quality team a chance to inspect edges and tolerances before spending anything, which I found very reassuring.

The programmable sewing machine handles the standard jacket pocket very well. For unusual shaped pieces we still use a manual station, but for the volume work it is very good. Documentation package included wiring diagrams, safety instructions and a declaration of conformity, all in one organised folder.

Our sewers love the template unit, the stitch quality is uniform, and bobbin changes are quick. Only downside is that the template plates are pricey if we order extras for new styles. An open and calm approach from the sales engineer, who admitted where a feature was not available instead of promising it.
