Description
The Zemat MEGA is a large-format high-frequency (RF) welder with a hydraulic press for big components and complex weld shapes. Automatic shuttle tables let the operator position material and tooling outside the press zone before the welding cycle. It is used for sealing and embossing PVC, PU and coated technical and protective textiles with uniform pressure. Zemat builds dedicated electrodes and tooling to match the product, and process monitoring keeps welding parameters repeatable.

The welding machine does what it says and seams stay tight after washing. The initial settings were too aggressive for our thin fabric, so we lowered the power after some tests. A little more guidance on thin materials would help.
